| Professor | a post-graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or (MS) Master of Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline EXPERIENCE: a) Four years teaching experience as a Reader or Associate Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned specialty. |
| Associate Professor | postgraduate qualification e.g MD (Doctor of Medicine )/ MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline. EXPERIENCE: (a) Five years teaching experience as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college in the concerned specialty. |
| Assistant Professor | a post-graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or (MS) Master of Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline Three years of teaching experience in the subject as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the post-graduation course or after obtaining a postgraduate degree in the subject. |
