Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman Recruitment 2025 Age Limit
The age limit varies by trade (as listed above) and is calculated as of 1st January 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules
Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process consists of six stages:
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height, chest, and weight requirements based on category.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) –
- Male: 5 km run in 24 minutes
- Female: 1.6 km run in 8.30 minutes
- Trade Test (Skill Test) – No marks, qualifying in nature.
- Written Test –
- 100 marks, Objective Type
- Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/EWS, 33% for SC/ST/OBC
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) – As per CAPF medical standards.
- Final Merit List – Based on written test scores and overall performance.
